So I watched a movie tonight called “Dumb Money” Most of us probably remember the great squeeze of the stock price of Game Stop back in 2021. I have not really thought about that much in a long time, nor did I spend much time really understanding what happened. This movie gave me a chance to relive that time and understand it from many different points of view. I realize how much blockchain and crypto are very similar to what happened with Game Stop.

When I decided to create the Rebel Blockchain and RebelCoin, it was because I fell in love with the concept of decentralization. Yes, RebelCoin is no where near as decentralized as I wish it was, but I think there is time for that to still happen. It was around the time when Silicon Valley Bank failed and I realized too much power lies in the centralized banking system, and that enough like minded individuals could free themselves financially if they worked together.

I don’t think people realize by joining together and building and supporting something like RebelCoin that it can change the future for everyone. Embrace blockchain and explore what it is really capable of. Even if you don’t want to support RebelCoin find some other project you can support. Find a project and read its whitepaper, do your own research. Find a project that speaks to you and get involved. We don’t give financial or investment advice here. All we want to do is to get you to see what is out there and do the research to make decisions that are best for you.

With RebelCoin, we are not always going to market RBL the way people are used to, or expect us to. RebelCoin is not a meme coin, and our intent is to be around for a long time. This means our growth is going to be slow, and we are ok with the price going up and down because that is just part of the process. We are exploring many different exchanges and are in discussions with lots of them. We are always negotiating listing fees and determining what exchange makes sense for RBL both financially and for our community. This does not happen overnight. It can take weeks of back and forth discussions and many times deals fall through. There are also a ton of scams out there which require additional research before a decision is made. The point is, it is your choice whether to support RebelCoin and we try to be as transparent as possible, but understand there are things that go on in the background and sometimes it takes time.

If you do choose to support RebelCoin and be part of the community, we are so happy to have you! Like the hyenas, if there are enough of us we CAN take down a lion!
